BOOCHA! AGK

PHOTO: THOMAS WELLER
SKATERS: ADAM BRADLEY, TREVOR NEDEA, DOUGIE

My name is Adam William Bradley, sounds proper doesn't it so i call myself "Boocha"!.I was born Aug 8 1986. I love Sk8boarding, Music, Family and Friends and always down for a party!\

AGK: Adam BOOCHA Bradley, Tell me about BOOCHA, what's it mean, what's it stand for?
AB:Well "Boocha" is a word I came up with in 2005. Out of no where I said it an people liked it. Then as it became more popular we made the first AGK sk8 video called "BOO-CHA", and it has prospered from there. So people ask me what does Boocha mean, sometimes its hard to explain, but when I think bout it, to me it means BOOCHA...like an explosion, a hand grenade waiting to go off, a surprise like BAM and POW from the original Batman series with Adam west.
AGK: How long you been on the shred stick for?
AB:I'm almost in a way embarrased to say, but it's been bout 10yrs. I just fooled around for the first 5yrs, riding around getting control on the board, then I started dedicating myself a lot and just keep on doing what I luv!. Sk8'n for me right now is the funnest I've ever had and I am so glad to be a part of the shred stick!
AGK: You've been working like a mad dog, what do yeah do??
AB:Yes I luv $$ Bill y'all so gotta work lots n have a descent paying job!. I am an Auto body apprentice at Star Collision have been there going on 4yrs. I am going to get my ticket for Auto body but I really want to be a painter, cause its cleaner an less expensive for tools!!

AGK: Your brother is heavily into Hip Hop tell me about Eclipse.
AB:Ya my bro "Eclipse" has loved Hip-Hop all his life and has been producing Hip-Hop music for a while now, he is very gifted as some like to say he was born with it cause his Bday is 7777, July 7, 1977 so its deff a calling!!. He is well known for his freestyle, smooth beats an suave style. Keep an eye n ear out for Eclipse here in the 905!!

AGK: What does Eclipse think of the scene down here?
Eclipse: Hip Hop is the music of our generation. It is something that we can all relate to no matter where your from. We share our stories of life and share through it. We live, breathe and eat it!. It's inspiring to see just how many people in the 905 are chasing the hip hop dream. We got so much talent, it's insane. My boy Boogie the turntabilist is one of the illest DJ's who's ever spun a record. We got some crazy producers choppin up them beats. From P8e, Prodeuce, Rsenol the beat chef and Ineffable all the way to Strategy and Syc. The number of MC's is ridiculous. We got Sikadime, Femapco, KAC, Fancy, Lady Flex, Poet Trees, Scorsese, Verbal, Moofeek, Godz Anger, Eveleve, L viscious,Crumble, Mama's boys, Kronzilla, 360 clan, Twin and so many others it's hard to keep count..Then u got my boys Souljah and Saint who jus started spittin with me for something to do and ended up lightin the mic's on fire. The great thing about all this is that we have our own ambassador of hip hop in the 905. The Flowman, my man an yo' man, satisfies any rap junkies craving for local rap music by giving us a platform to broadcast our talents. Every Monday night from 10pm until 11pm tune into 103.7 CFBU on your FM dial for some under the underground boom bap served up by my boy The abominal Flowman. So I deff love our local scene and look forward to seeing what the future has in store for us!
AGK: Do you have any big and up and coming plans with your music?
Eclipse: The DiamondMinds, which consists of me and Boogie with help from our killer producer D-Noble are working on a demo that we are going to be shopping around to some major labels. The next step I'd like to take is to shoot a semi professional video. Videos cost alot of money so were going to need to put together a few connections and see what we come up with. Besides that I'm doing shows and recording. Make sure you keep an eye out for some of my new projects that will be droppin soon..DiamondMinds- 2 minds are better than one...DiamondMinds- Noblemen...Eclipse- Autobiography...Boogie the turntabilist- Blame it on the Boogie.

AGK: What's Souljah been up to lately, How long have you guys been tight?

Eclipse: Souljah has alot goin' on. He is continuing to promote Got Flow?. Which has organized to showcase the skills of our local talent and to give people a chance to perform at a venue with an audience. He also donates partial proceeds to local charities such as project share. Besides that he is focusing on his clothing business, Drop The Needle. He manufactures numerous brands of his own clothing line, "Got Flow?", "King of Hearts", "Blunt Apparel", and "Blackmail" are just a few of his conceptions. He designs all of my clothes including my Eclipse gear and the clothing line I started, called "7Large". I think it is a great idea that he came up with. Why wear G-unit or Rocawear when u could sport something that has YOUR name on it?. Me an Jah have been best friends ever since I can remember. We were both raised in the same block off of Kalar Rd. and started a click called "KP". We've grown up together and been through almost everything together. He has always been there for me, supporting me and my music. His alias is the Black King, he has a black king chess piece tattooed on his left arm, and anyone who knows him would agree that he lives up to the name King. He has a heart of gold and would do anything for the people he cares about. He is very dedicated and a hard working entrepreneur and nothing will stop him from gaining the goals of success that he sets for himself. If you would like to know more bout his clothing lined or you are interested in personalizing your own wardrobe, you can contact Souljah at www.drop-the-needle.ca

AGK: For people who haven't followed Eclipse from the beginning, what are some notable things you've done in the past?
Eclipse: I have travelled for NY to LA, Boston to Atlanta, Montreal to Trinidad and Tobago as well as many places in between. I have been everywhere recording and making contacts. It is a very long road to the top and I have a long way to go, but I have accomplished a few things on the way. I have opened up for Mannie Fresh of the Cash Money Millionaires. I've recorded with people from J-ro of the Alkoholiks to Moses of Mo'2 the head productions. Moses produced "Dear Mama" for 2pac and it was cool to check out the platinum record on his wall. I performed at the V.I.P party for the movie "Four Brothers" attended by Mark Wahlberg, Terrence Howard, Snow, Saukrates and many more celebrities. I've also ranked highly on many internet hip hop charts and won numerous freestyle battles. Some albums I have released include: JerseyFalls, Clockwork Seven, Olde English, Kings of Diamond and most recently, In the Lines of Fire. My track "Deadliest" was choosen to appear on the soundtrack for the television hip hop drama "Drop the Beat" starring Michie Mee, Infinite and Kardinal
AGK: Who are some of the people who have supported you most in your music?
Eclipse: I have so many people to thank for their love and support through all of this but the ones who first come to mind are my lil brother Boocha, my sister Danielle and her husband Mike, Boogie, My pops, Souljah, Ron the Legend, Saint, P-hustle, Ineffable, Becky and Jesse, The Brightons, The Maddhatters, Paula and Jeff, Thadeus, Lance, of course the lord Almighty and last but not least AGK!! I love you all and thanks for listening. "Eclipse is in the Building"
AGK: THANKS ECLIPSE!

AGK: Are you going to try and film a full part for the up and coming AGK video?
AB: Yes I am deff hoping so, its just I've been so busy working full time, moving, partyin..There's always something, but deff gonna get lots of footy an have a BOOCHASTIC part, cause I luv being a part of AGK for now and forever! Mad Love!

AGK: What's in the near future for BOOCHA?
AB: I'm seeing my future and its looking bright, I'm keeping positive and always will. Your life is what you make of it and I'm very grateful for having friends like you and loving family. There is lots in store for me and for all. The Boocha and AG is spreading like wildfire!!.Thank you for all your support over the years AGK for LIFE!!. And also I had a photo shoot in May with my good buddy Thomas Weller of Weller Photography, the shoot was a blast an there will be more in this upcoming summer of 09..Weller is #1 so if anyone needs a photographer or would like to check out my sports section for sk8boarding there is a website, thomas@wellerphotography.com and also can be found through facebook!!
AGK: How yeah feel about what were doing over here at AGK?
AB: Always loving what u guys are doing with the shop, from what you started with to what you have now, I would say u guys have the best sk8 shop in the Niagara region especially rep'n the 905!. Keep it up!!
AGK: What do you think about the skateboarding scene around here?
AB: The sk8 scene down here should be put on the map, there is a lot of really good and dedicated sk8'rs down here! If only we had more sponsors and rep's, but thats why Antigravity is here to help put Niagara Falls on the sk8 map!
AGK: Shout outs?
AB:I have no one in particular to shout to except for my Family and Friends which has helped make me what I am today..a loving, respectfull ball of energy. Thank you everyone and especially Antigravity may all your dreams come true!!...Mad Love form BOOtotheCHA!!

Oh Glory, she was beautiful that night.
Exploit the notion of catching fireflies.
They're what lit the way.
You've seen this before.
Time has it's way, but never go back.
Destroying the future as we don't know it yet.
Gathering stories to read and climb.
As high as the buildings go,
the books are endless.
Matching the dreamscapes in the hallways.
Staircases bending whichever way.
Stop to recount the steps.
Finding it much easier to memorize.
Realizing there are no more windows.
Giving the fear of height the antidote to subside.
Just remember the fireflies light your way.
Every closet has atleast one skeleton.
Lay them to rest tonight.
As the souls can sleep easy knowing it.
Communications aside, all you want is reassurance.
The inevitability of a destination.
Your taxi will not wait all night.
So make it back down and let the fireflies go.
They are burning inside.
