AGK: Whats up Anti-qs? What have yeah guys been up to lately?
Anti-qs: Whats up AGK... we've just been recording demo's for a new album.... I think we have about 12 full demos down and about another 10 to finish writing.... sooo... it's coming along pretty good...
AGK: You were on Episode 3 for MOCtalk, Walk us throught how it went the cast and crew, and how it was to be on the show
Anti-qs: MOC talk was a really good time... it was an insane layout with the show being shot upstairs with live audience down stairs. We got to play some new stuff we had been working on... which was cool cause it'll premiere on MOC Talk. It was a pretty sweet operation and I really enjoyed myself.....
AGK: If you wanted to catch the Anti-qs where could we do that either in a live show or on the internet.
Anti-qs: Well... You can check us out @ www.myspace.com/theantiqs for info and show listings... but you can catch us Thursday Feb 19th,10pm to 12 on 103.7fm... while we invade live in the rhythm hive on Brock radio...

AGK: What's the future for the Anti-qs?

Anti-qs: We plan to finish up the demos and record the new album up at chemical sound in Toronto. Once that's done we're going to start work with some people to help with distribution and other things like radio and press, that we're finding we can't take care ourselves anymore.... in the mean time, we'll probably put out a small EP of some of the demos and other stuff along with a internet vid of our adventures through Ontario promoting our recent album SINNERS AND SAINTS soooo... I guess a lot of new things are in our future .... which is definitely exciting.....
AGK: How has the music scene in Niagara Falls shaped the band you are now today?
Anti-qs: I really don't know.... I'm sure it has.... I grew up listening to Aimless Nonsense... i thought that was the coolest fucking thing ever... they put out an album... i think that stoked me up to want to put out my own albums.... so that definitely shaped me.... and Nathan Warner(the Waxbills) and the Q's go pretty far back and have always pushed each other creatively ... so that's a huge part.... but i guess the Niagara scene is pretty awesome cause of the people that are actually in it....
AGK: Where does the Anti-qs get inspiration from?
Anti-qs: We smoke a lot of our inspiration, but besides that.... We take things from everywhere.... just keep our eyes open. Some times we write about stuff from the past.... Tv.... our neighborhood.... shit we make up... stories we hear.... whatever..... I guess we really just take our life and write whats on our minds.... if we didn't we explode or rob banks.

AGK: Does Ryan do all the song writing or is it a group effort?
Anti-qs: Pretty much Nathan and I(Ryan) write the original song and structure..... and then the guys write their own parts.
AGK: How do you guys feel about what were doing over here at AGK?
Anti-qs: I think AGK is awesome... I love the store.... I love the vid..... I love everything about it.... I still skate... kinda suck... but so stoked that Niagara has a vibrant skate scene.
AGK: How do you guys feel about what were doing over here at MOCtalk?
Anti-qs: I think MOCtalk is crazy.... Such a huge production... I've never seen anything like it.... to come up with an idea that big, lay it out... and produce it on their own personal budget is crazy.... it's really amazing to see it going down..... i would recommend it to anyone to go to a live taping and experience it for themselves.... pretty inspiring...big ups to Joe Stracuzzi.
AGK: If you could go on tour with any 5 bands who would they be?
Anti-qs:
1.Sam Roberts
2.Oasis
3.The Dandy Warhols
4.The Beatles
5. Blondie (Heart of Glass era)

AGK: Great talking to you guys any shoutouts?
Anti-qs: Thanks AGK.... shoutouts to you guys first off... and to the fine crew on MOCtalk.....

Cheers
Ryan
