AGK: Well Kac name, age and where you reside at?
KAC: Well, The KaC Himself stands for Kris Allan Collver.....him mutha fuckin self....haha. I am a 26 year old Hippy hopper tryin to survive in a world of corruption.
I have been reppin The Falls since age 7 but born in Edmonton Alberta.
AGK: How long you been a MC for?
KAC: I have honestly only been writin, rhymin, recordin and rippin the em eye sea for 2 years.
AGK: Who or What got you into Hip Hop?
KAC: well, i wanted to do this ish for long time still but never had the courage till my boy Jay Fancy got me to do a track for his Lp "A Major Diasaster".
From then on I claimed the fame for the all the local dames.....haha!
AGK: How do you feel about the state of Hip Hop in General? Are you pleased and where do you see it going?
KAC:NaSir Jones said it best.....REAL Hip Hop is DEAD! although, there are a few kats that keep my mind at peace with some real ish. Right now im vibin to J5, Dialted Peeps,
Sweatshop Union, Classified, Daneo, The Verbal Butcher, and a select few dudes that Keep that real hip hop alive and well. But Honestly the radio game is beyond played out son.
its time for the media to focus on the lyrics of the industry and not the catchy beat that makes the hookers shake there tail feather......weak!
AGK: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
KAC: onna stage rippin a crowd on my "FUCK WAR" Tour in Phuket, Thailand
AGK: Tell me a little about GOT FLOW?
KAC: well, my boy Justin Edwards (SoulJah) wanted to get the entire Niagara Hip Hop scene together as one. So he started Got Flow? which is Niagara's FIRST Open Mic Hip Hop night.
He has worked very hard at obtaining various sponcers and promoters like yourself (AGK), McDonalds, The Jump Off, Project Share, Capish and many others. Over the last year I have joined him in
attempting to conqour the game here in the falls by bringin all the mutha fuckas wit game together for one crazy night. It has been held at Red Rocks Liquid Lounge on Morisson St. for the last 7 shows
but we are plannin on expanding to St. Kitts for the next one as well as T.O. in the near future. Its a great time to come chill, listen to some sick rhymes and also to purchase beats from various producers durin the beat hour.
Its always jammed wit a variety of acts, alcohol, 50/50 draws, raffles and straight good times!
AGK: What do you think about what AGK is doing for Niagara Falls?
KAC: ONE WORD........Monopolizin! AGK is the main stage for skaters united. Since u guys have started I hear so much bout the sick shit yalll are doin, wit events,
promotion, the new fresh gear and mainly how u are bringin a scene to the falls. I love what u have done to the city full of skaters and really for everyone.
AGK: You’re coming out with three albums at one time. Care to give us a little insight?
KAC: hahahaha.....Ummm, well, I figured i would hit the fans where it hurts....their pocket book. Naaa, just kiddin, hahaha, I just want to do some shit that no one has done before ya no. Like sell all three for a deal like 10 bux or some crazy ish like that.
I just like to b different, unique one might say...so Im pushin all trois at the same damn time.
AGK: You also have a slang reminiscent of Professional Skateboarder Jim Greco have you always had that?
KAC: Jimbo....ha, nice name drop....Umm, I really wanted to gain recognition as bein that dude that raps so-qwik i make the ladies for-fit their panties for mo-chips.....lol. Naaa, I was really so and akward when i wrote my first 2 or 3 trax than i just blew up and started on
some bone thugs shit. I believe that anyone can spit easy slow ish but it takes serious talent and verbal abuse to rip some twista, Bone thug make ya get in accidents tryin to hear every word type shit.
AGK: How many hours do you spend in the studio?
KAC: usually, illl head to my man Prodeuce's crib downtown, vibe for abit, than rip shit along wit bong hits for a few hours. I will lay down my verses, than back ups than the choruses than Deuce takes it into frooty loops to master it.
AGK: Give us some inspirational words for up and coming MC’s.
KAC: BE YOUR DAMN SELF! when life throws u speedy cab to the top, take it. Dont sell yurr soul, dont change yo style, just B Yo DAM SELF and make real ish for the world to vibe wit.
